Setting Your New Year Intentions for Love

When setting New Year goals, the sky’s the limit. But how do we channel our inner-manifestor to set intentions for love, specifically? Start here.

Another year is upon us. Another full 12 months to sustain love, grab it by the heart, and open it wide and ferociously for all involved. The quickly-approaching 2022 promises to be a culmination of ever-evolving love and ever-so-slightly dancing in the moonlight with a heart that can go the distance. A new year, a new outlook, a new possibility, and plenty of bright eyes gazing at the universe inviting us all to play; this is our moment for true, blue, magnetic love.

Here are some pertinent love-things to consider when looking inside to come to an agreement with our own selves on the importance of, and the magnitude, of love:

  • Does your heart skip a few beats when thinking about a certain someone?
  • Do you willingly choose to explore the intimate nature of yourself before sharing it with another?
  • Is the purpose of being in love to continue your mission in this life together?
  • Has a new year brought about greater chances to open and be more alive with the premise of emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental fulfillment?

I ask myself these questions all of the time.

It’s not necessarily a declaration, as much as it is a sole intention (and hopeful manifestation) of putting my heart in a space whereby another human being is ready to accept and do the same. We aren’t in a *resolution* phase any more with a new year, we are in an *intention* phase. The main difference being we aren’t settling for “ho-hum” as years past; we are grabbing the universe by the outer edges of her beautiful being and presenting our BEST as it shines and rises to the occasion for LOVE.

As our intentions come forth and we make decisions and choices based on the moment, would it be wise to include the gratitude and appreciation that goes along with every need and desire sent out to our precious earth? Absolutely, as the more we give the more we get, and this puts love at the forefront.

It can be as simple as wishing to be involved in a relationship with another who understands, is supportive, makes us laugh until we drop, cares for others as much as we do, and is in harmony with a path we’ve taken as of late. Nothing with respect to love needs to be dramatic and complicated. We can leave that emotional baggage as a sore thing of the past. The current is ALL about the seeds we have planted, the seeds we continue to sow and nurture, and how they flourish and grow into something we’ve never experienced.

This is what 2022 is wanting for us.

So as we launch into another 12 months of new beginnings, and possible endings, and opportunities to experience cherished romance and intimacy, let us never forget the reasons we are here, to love. It’s been written and proclaimed over and over again, basically until we gather all that’s left of us inside and wander into the unknown.

Some of us might be doing another dance into the familiar; some of us might be enticing another with our charm and affection; some of us might be so over-the-moon already that taking our love to a new level is part of 2022. Whatever the dreams and magic that awaits, the intention is prevalent and real. We put it out there and attract who we are and what we give. We listen, we learn, and we respond in kind to what Mother Earth has in store for us—because guaranteed, she wants only the utmost in dripping-with-emotional-goodness for our loving selves.

Let’s do this in 2022.
