5 Simple Ways to Raise Your Vibration

We all want to feel good, it’s human nature. How we get there becomes a bit more complicated. Or does it? Let’s start with five ways to raise your vibration.

There is a prevailing sense that attaining enlightenment and true awareness is actually un-attainable in some way. The spiritual circles and profound gatherings of chanting gurus and self-proclaimed goddesses are merely a whisper of elevating our level of higher selves. We get so caught up in the how to and why of everything superbly beneficial in our lives that we forget we are human and doing the best we can. Mistakes are made, messes need to be cleaned up, and there are no easy alternatives than to pick up where we left off.

Our vibration is the energy we emanate out into the world. It is our essence, the core of who we are. Sure there will be low days of sending out special signals during any lifetime, but here are some non-dramatic ways to give your vibration a boost:

1. Smiling

The minute you walk out the door with thoughts and feelings aligned in gratitude is the very minute a genuine smile will be plastered across your face. If it is sincere and real, the whole world will feel it and respond. Even if the day got off on the wrong foot, expressing a grinning mouth with happy eyes to match will surely raise your spirits, and the spirits of others.

2. Breathing

We need our breath to survive, but have you ever stopped to feel and hear your own breathing? It is the foundation of our every move in life, the force that generates momentum in all aspects of living. Stop for a second. Take a deep breath. Open your lungs and heart. Feel the relaxation and peace that washes over you. Breathing awareness into the day is a surefire recipe for higher thoughts and actions.

3. Listening

This is a practice that might not always be easy. When distractions occur and we are not in tune with our surroundings (or the communication that ensues) listening intently goes out the window.

Tuning in to another with your undivided attention—which means no phones, no T.V., no other electronics or outer stimulus to shift the focus away from what’s important—and really listening with all senses on deck, this is one of our greatest gifts. It also happens to raise our energy levels and meet it with compassion and kindness, two of the highly vibratory blessings in this life.

4. Seeing

Eyes wide open, or so the saying goes. We cannot put blinders on to what is happening around us.

If we see others for who they are, if we witness things that aren’t pleasurable or favorable, if we gaze into the eyes of another, then the windows to our soul will usher in all of the beauty and grace that this world has to offer. To use the sense of sight is a great advantage in sending out positive pings for ourselves and others.

5. Resting

Resting is the final antidote to raising our vibration. With days that are inundated with people and places and things, we need to carve out the space and time to truly get some down time. The benefits far outweigh any negatives, so pick a spot to lie down, take a few breaths, close your eyes, and give the heart some peace and quiet.

This is the final phase and culmination of every action from above on this list. You’ve worked hard, you’ve done your daily diligence, now soak in the rewards of settling into some much needed rest and self care. It all equates to love.

When we walk around outside, doing our lives and greeting others in work and play and love, make a little mental notation of all the things you participated in to aid in raising your vibration.

It doesn’t have to be complicated. As a matter of fact, the more it flows and isn’t a chore, the more your body will align how it energetically spreads who you are in this world. We all have it in us. We all desire to be the best we can be. We are all human and able to participate in love, by both giving and receiving. How you answer your own questions of whether or not operating on a higher level is a worthy venture, that is the very core of choosing whether a better life is for you.

I believe we can do it, easily and effectively. Trust the process and all will be well.
