A Few of Our Favorite Green Sex Toys (You’re Welcome)

We like sex. We do. Sometimes, we even like sex with props. Don’t sacrifice that mean eco-streak during sexy time, check out these green sex toys.

Sex is fun. Sex with play toys is even more fun. But sex with mindful sex products is the most fun of all!

As someone who has worked at a sex toy store I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the real ugly when it comes to products people put on and in their bodies. I’ve become rather snobby about the whole thing actually. People work out to stay healthy, but when it comes to pleasure they often overlook the parabens and chemicals that add an unhealthy element to their fun.

But it doesn’t have to be that way, here are some of my favorite green(er) sex products.

Hit That Clit.

When I first saw the Leaf vibrators, I was like, “how corny,” a eco-friendly sex toy shaped like plants, but those little green friends pack a powerful punch for the inner hippie in all of us. They’re rechargable, waterproof and phthalate-free. Perfect addition for additional clitorial fun.

More Gloves for More Love.

Vegan condoms? Yes! Sir Richards is one of my favorite companies of all time. Not only do they keep us protected from unwanted diseases like chlamydia and children, they also give one for every one we buy to someone in need across the seas. Plus they’re paraben-free, glycerin-free and spermicide-free.

Get Wet. Get Wild.

The world needs more good lube. If only there was a way to get that lube to magically appear where you need it without having to stop mid-sex act to apply, but that is a different issue. Sliquids makes a great organic line, plus it comes in recycled packing and is free from all the junk you don’t want in your lube.

Touch that Body.

Get your massage on with Earthly Body products, soy-based massage candles are pretty amazing. Just melt it down and it creates a warming oil for you to rub in and all over your partner of choice.

The Couple that Comes Together, Stays Together.

It’s not the easiest task in the world, but the we-vibe 4 can help. Rechargable, medical-grade silicone, and it comes with a remote. Not only that, now the 4 has an app—so you can buzz her even when you’re not in the same room. What a way to keep that romance throbbing.

Spank Harder—and Nicer?

So you’ve been naughty, but you can still be nice—at least to the planet—by using this recycled rubber whip. Being bad just got rather good.

What, What, in the Butt.

Glass is a great addition to any play toy box. Plugs made out of this sturdy material are a fabulous choice. Warm them up or cool them down to create new sensations. Plus they’re non-porous so they’re easy to clean and they lasts forever (generally people don’t break them unless they’re dropped rather hard on concrete flooring—and how many people throw butt plugs on cement? …I don’t know the answer to that.)

For the Wankers.

Men often complain that there are no good sex toys out there for their own masturbatory practice. I disagree. The only time I have ever experienced penis envy was when I discovered the tenga flip hole. Unlike those disposable masturbators or even the flesh light, this one really ups the game. It can open for easy lube application and easy cleaning. It has three pressure points so you can feel sensation on different parts of the shaft, and it lasts for like 80 wanks—which is way better than anything else on the market right now.

Get Your D On.

For the best (softer than glass) dildos, Tantus is the way to go. They’re 100% ultra-premium silicone. This material is safe for the body, easy to clean, and can last for years and years.
